Pre-Purchase Vehicle Inspections

Pre-Purchase Vehicle Inspections are all about helping you "Know Before You Buy" so you are not stuck with someone else's problems. As an ASE Master Technician with over 20 years under the hood, I come to the vehicle and look at it the same way I would if my own family were about to buy it.

I start with a Mechanical Systems Evaluation of the engine, transmission, brakes, steering, and suspension. I listen for noises, check for play or looseness, and look for signs of hard use or poor maintenance that could lead to big repair bills down the road.

Next is an Exterior and Interior Condition Assessment. I inspect the body, paint, glass, and frame areas I can see for signs of prior accidents, rust, or low-quality repairs. Inside, I check seats, trim, electronics, and controls for wear, water intrusion, and general condition so you know what you are really getting.

On the road, I perform a Test Drive Performance Analysis. I feel how the vehicle accelerates, shifts, steers, and stops. I pay attention to vibrations, pulls, warning lights, and odd behaviors that often do not show up until the car is in motion.

I also do a detailed Fluid and Leak Inspection, checking oil, coolant, transmission fluid (where accessible), brake fluid, and power steering fluid. I look under the vehicle and around major components for leaks, seepage, and signs that someone tried to clean things up right before the sale.

At the end, I explain everything in clear language: what is safe, what needs attention soon, and what repairs you might face later. I do not sell repairs, so my inspection is strictly about giving you the facts to decide whether to buy, negotiate, or walk away.
